Our session with Cynthia and Efrain was absolutely perfect. Long-time friends of mine, celebrating a baby on the way is always special. But this evening, we were even visited by a sweet hummingbird. Did you know that when a hummingbird visits you it’s a sign a loved one is near? For Cynthia, it was an affirmation that her grandmother was watching over their session.

Cynthia and I have known each other since high school and she and her husband are both Aggies like me! Once an Aggie, always an Aggie, and it starts at birth! It was so fun to include some 12th Man gear into their session.

Helping plan my dear friend’s maternity session was even more special to me because I actually never had maternity photos done! I encouraged her to bring all the things that are meaningful to her in this season-ultrasounds, a few flowers and family heirlooms, and most important-their sweet pup Romeo!

As a San Antonio maternity photographer, sessions at stunning places like Mission San Jose just fill my heart! As you’ll see, there are so many spots to use and so much gorgeous light. Mission Conception almost lets you feel like you’re in an old Mexican town!

I hope you enjoy these photos of my dear friends, and just a note-her cute blue dress was a gift, but we have plenty of gowns like her dusty rose one in our maternity client closet!
